Make sure to visit Northfield’s new Little Free Library at the Dog River Park! Early in the fall a community member approached the library with the idea of bringing a Little Free Library to the Dog River Park. Thanks to the hard work of this community member and the tremendous generosity of the Rotary Club of Northfield who funded the project, Northfielders can now take a book and leave a book at their leisure from our new Little Free Library. For those not familiar with Little Free Libraries you can find a brief introduction here on the Little Free Library’s website. The library will serve as the steward for this new Little Free Library, ensuring that it stays full of wonderful books year round. Thank you again to the Rotary Club of Northfield for funding this project and to Cara Gauthier for all of her hard work and creativity in making this idea a reality.
